Joseph Karlose (Strategic Innovation)

Joseph Karlose got his M.Tech degree in Industrial Engineering, from REC, Calicut, Presently known as NIT Kozhikode. He did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from TKMCE Kollam. His experience include   software quality assurance,  Software development,  in running  cost center, Air safety analysis and certification of military aircraft engines, Ideation and IPR Management. He has taught for about a year, the B.Tech students of REC Calicut. He has done right sizing of man power for Heavy Alloy Penetration Plant (HAPP), Trichy, TamilNadu, an ordinance factory, when he was a Scientist in DRDO. This project resulted in trimming the manpower size to one third of what other consultants had projected. He has participated as member of court of enquiry, constituted by Ministry of Defence, Government of India multiple times. He has experience of airworthiness assurance of military aero engines and components. He was working for SHARP Corporation as Innovation Catalyst, IPR management & Ideation and applying TRIZ, the Theory of Solving Inventive problem. He was part of appraisal team for CMMI for SHARP. He became a TRIZzian during 2003. He is a lead auditor of ISO 9001. He has experience in testing laser printer drivers. His current research interest is Green TRIZ also known as sustainable TRIZ. Green TRIZ target to develop environmental friendly solutions and systems with minimum damage to the earth, it’s creatures including mankind and future generation. He believes that TRIZ will empower the practicing engineers to develop sustainable solutions using the brain power of other scientists.
